Allianz unveils cyber product suite

Allianz Global Corporate and Speciality (AGCS) has unveiled three insurance products in response to "growing cyber criminality".

Allianz Cyber Protect boasts cover up to a limit of €50m [£41m], a range of cyber exposures and three levels of business interruption cover which the insurer claims can be tailored to the client's needs. 

The offering also includes immediate access to a crisis response team. It comes as the insurer cited figures from the Cabinet Office that cyber crime and data breaches cost the UK economy some £27bn.
