iParc plans shelved as insurers seek alternative options
Plans for a new pricing hub for the personal lines market have been shelved.
Insurance Age reported in December 2012 that Polaris was in talks with several insurers to develop iParc, a new market-sponsored, real-time rating hub for personal lines.
However, Philip Nunn, sales & account manager at Polaris, today confirmed that the insurers involved in the discussions had reached the decision to shelve the plans in mid-April.
The insurers involved at this stage were Ageas, Allianz, Covéa, Markerstudy and LV.
