McChesney steps into Zurich role from Allianz
Zurich has confirmed the appointment of Gareth McChesney as director of personal lines underwriting and pricing for its UK general insurance business.
He has replaced Darren McCauley whose departure for Tesco Underwriting was revealed in February.
Mr McChesney has now completed a three-month hand-over period with Mr McCauley having joined from Allianz in April. He was with his previous company for 27 years, most recently with responsibility for pricing and underwriting across Allianz's home and motor business.
