Bluefin back on acquisition trail with Bonsure capture

Bluefin Insurance Group has bought Dartford-based Bonsure Insurance Brokers and insisted it is "hungry for more deals", Insurance Age can reveal.

The Axa-owned broker confirmed that Bonsure's two partners John Whitefield and David Brine will join, relocating to the broker's offices in Chelmsford.

Speaking to Insurance Age earlier this year, Bluefin CEO Stuart Reid asserted that he would be "disappointed" if the broker failed to complete three acquisitions. 

And Bonsure - which was founded in 1994 - specialises in providing advisory services to care homes.
