Covéa Insurance appoints two to head roles
Covéa Insurance has appointed Martin Scarrett as head of electronic trading and Malcolm Cooper as head of underwriting, personal lines.
Mr Scarrett has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years, starting his career at Melville Burbage. He joined MMA (then Norman Insurance) in 1993 as motor section leader and was appointed household underwriting manager in 2006. In 2008 he was promoted to head of underwriting, personal lines.
The provider, recently renamed following the merger of MMA and Provident, confirmed that in his new role Mr Scarrett will report to Clive Bryant, IT and business services director. He will lead
