Marsh's graduate application boom "testament" to industry
Marsh has revealed that more than 2,700 people applied for just 15 places in its last UK graduate intake.
The broking giant said the large number was "testament to the industry's appeal" following the credit crunch.
Speaking about the level of demand, Colin Bashford, global HR operations leader, said: "In the aftermath of the financial crisis, the insurance sector is increasingly seen as an attractive career choice for graduates.
"Over 2,700 people applied for just 15 places in our last graduate intake, testament to the industry's appeal."
