Ex-Axa boss faces six-months gardening leave
Former Axa Personal Lines chief executive Steve Hardy has reportedly been put on gardening leave for six months.
Sister title Post has reported that Mr Hardy - a founding member of Swiftcover - will not be returning to work in the immediate future.
A source reportedly said that Mr Hardy is "out of commission for six months" but added he would definitely be returning to business, albeit it will unlikely be in a corporate manner.
Despite repeated requests from Insurance Age to find out more about Mr Hardy's sudden departure, Axa has so far refused to expand on the events.
