Aviva confident of retaining Broker Network business
David Skinn, head of broker performance management at Aviva, has claimed the insurer would retain its book of business from Broker Network members due to the provider’s strong relationships with brokers, despite leaving the network’s panel.
Mr Skinn, who is responsible for Aviva's relationship across the Towergate group, revealed that Aviva was already out talking to the brokers to reinforce its commitment to them the day after the news of the breakdown in the relationship with Broker Network.
He told Insurance Age: "In terms of the end brokers we have very strong relationships and there will be no change to the way we deal with them or the remuneration we pay to those brokers."
