MGA enters international liability market

Manchester Underwriting Management (MUM) is to enter the international market writing professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’, management liability, crime and product recall for London Market brokers.

The division will be headed up by David Eynon who has over 25 years’ experience in financial lines, holding senior roles with major London Market insurers.

Joining Mr Enyon is Andrew Farr, head of management liability and Rob McKay head of professional indemnity – London.

The division will report to chief executive Charles Manchester.

Brokers upbeat on 2024 growth – Aviva

Brokers are more optimistic about growth in the coming year than they have been since before 2020, according to Aviva, with 83% expecting their business to grow compared to 76% last year.
