Swiftcover hits back at Which? claims

Swiftcover has responded to claims that it charges its customers “hidden” fees to make standard policy changes.

The insurer refuted a report from consumer group Which? stating that it charged consumers £30 to update their policy, and said the watchdog had “ignored” the Swiftcover business model.

A Swiftcover spokesperson said: “When it comes to swiftcover.com and 'hidden charges', as Which? puts it, they have simply got it wrong.

“Swiftcover.com has always been an online-only insurer, allowing customers to update their policy online whenever they wish, and as often as they need to – without charge.
