XL appoints Hendrick as insurance operations chief

Greg Hendrick will become chief executive of XL’s insurance business on 1 January 2012 when incumbent Dave Duclos retires.

Mr Duclos will continue as a consultant to XL in 2012 to advise on and assist with the transition as Mr Hendrick steps up from his current position as executive vice president, strategic growth at the insurer.

XL's chief executive officer, Mike McGavick, said: "I want to thank Dave for his dedication and leadership throughout his tenure at XL. In an ever changing industry, Dave has played an integral role in guiding and positioning XL for the future.

Applied updates on commercial push

Applied Systems has confirmed Arch Insurance is about to enter the pilot phase of onboarding and will be live on the Applied Epic broker management system in April, with Iprism and Ark to follow and more promised in 2024.
