Carruthers follows Blanc to Axa Commercial
Axa Commercial Lines has appointed Max Carruthers as chief operating officer. He will join the business towards the end of 2011.
Yesterday, Insurance Age revealed Mr Carruthers' departure from Towergate and in his new role he will report directly to Amanda Blanc, CEO Axa Commercial Lines. Mr Carruthers will be responsible for business operations across Axa and Bluefin.
The appointment also follows the recent departure of Graham Coates from his role as chief trading officer at Bluefin.
