Biba 2011: Groupama vows "radical change" in online SME market

Brokers targeting the SME sector are about to see "a radical change" to the way traditional commercial combined cover is quoted and secured, it was today claimed at the British Insurance Brokers' Association conference.

The boast came as Groupama Insurances gave brokers a preview of Optima Business Plus its new fully online commercial product, which it insists is the culmination of 18 months research and development.

The product goes into live pilot soon after the conference with a full roll-out in June 2011.
