ECInsurance expands in Scotland and Northern England

ECInsurance has promoted one executive and appointed a new hire in a bid to increase its manpower in Scotland and Northern England.

Sharon Miller has been promoted to the role of sales manager for the North while David Burstow has been appointed as business development executive for the North of England.

Ms Miller has been with ECInsurance for three years and was previously a business development executive. According to the company she will develop new and existing accounts for both the Electrical Contractors Insurance Company and Electrical Contractors Insurance Services, particularly in Scotland.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin

Aviva is committed to pushing on with an “absolute focus on customer” and will continue “doubling down”, David Martin, managing director for UK commercial and chief distribution officer, told Insurance Age as he teased a “major new proposition” pencilled in for the end of the third quarter will catch brokers’ eyes.
