Zurich appoints director of personal lines broker business

Zurich has appointed Gareth Howell as the director of UK personal lines broker business, reporting to Karl Bedlow, managing director of UK personal lines.

According to the insurer one of Mr Howell's key priorities for 2011 is to re-define Zurich's customer and broker propositions and make them appropriate for the future shape of the marketplace.

AIG adds Clifford after Neal U-turn
