Axa confirms Amanda Blanc’s start date
Axa has confirmed that Amanda Blanc will start as chief executive officer of its UK commercial lines business on Monday 14 February 2011.
The news follows the announcement in December that the deputy group CEO of Towergate Partnership was set to join the insurer.
Ms Blanc, who will also be responsible for Bluefin, will report directly to Paul Evans, group chief executive of Axa UK, and will become a member of the Axa UK executive committee as well as, subject to regulatory approval, the AXA UK board
