900 staff to go at Quinn

Quinn Insurance's administrators are to begin a consultation process on the proposed redundancy programme which will affect approximately 900 members of staff

Administrators Paul McCann and Michael McAteer said they “deeply regretted” that a major restructuring of operations was necessary to both safeguard the future of the company and more than 1,500 jobs across nine centres.

“This is a difficult announcement to make and a considerably more difficult announcement for the workers of Quinn Insurance to hear. The scale of what we face is considerable,” said the administrators.
