Fortis to recruit 550 in UK

The move is a result of two major business wins

Fortis Insurance UK is to recruit almost 550 people in the Gloucester, Stoke and Eastleigh regions over the next year as a result of two significant new business wins.

The insurer announced recently that it had finalised a new partnership with Tesco Bank, through which Fortis will handle motor and household insurance for Tesco Bank’s 1.5 million customers in a deal worth over £500 million in annualised gross written premium.

In addition, Fortis has entered into exclusive discussions with Toyota
