Nick Starling of the Association of British Insurers has been chosen as the new Insurance Charities president

Nick Starling, director of general insurance and health at the Association of British Insurers, has been elected as president of the Insurance Charities for the forthcoming year.

The Insurance Charities provides financial and practical support to past and present employees of the insurance industry and their dependent relatives, who are suffering financial hardship. Last year they gave out over £1.1m to almost 1,000 beneficiaries.
