Proposed amendments to legislation could save London Authorities Mutual
London Authorities Mutual (LAML) could be revived following proposed amendments to legislation.
As reported on broking.co.uk, LAML recently announced it was to go into provisional liquidation. It entered into run-off earlier this year following an appeal ruling in Risk Management Partners v Brent Local Borough Council which found that participation in the mutual was beyond authorities' statutory powers and that Brent had breached procurement regulations.
