Fortis set to seal £20m Toyota motor deal

The insurer is in exclusive discussions with the car manufacturer and its UK insurance partner

Fortis Insurance UK has entered into exclusive discussions with Toyota and its UK insurance partner Aioi Motor and General Insurance Company of Europe to provide branded motor insurance products to the cat manufacturer’s customer base.

Fortis said the deal, currently worth over £20m in annualised total gross written premium, builds on its position as the third largest car insurer in the UK and is the first motor manufacturer branded scheme it has secured.
