Markel makes internal D&O appointment
New head of D&O division installed
Markel International has appointed Patrick White as class underwriter and head of the firm's D&O section.
Mr White's appointment comes as the firm looks to broaden the scale and geographic reach of its D&O business in Europe and in the UK, where it will focus on the domestic PLCs.
Mr White will report to David Jones, joint managing director, Professional Liability division.
