Groupama appoints senior figures to boost SME push
Groupama Insurances has announced two senior appointments in moves to further strengthen its non-motor underwriting team and to drive forward its agency and distribution strategy. Phil Bird will be joining the company from Axa as director of non-motor and SME Underwriting, whilst Kate Mutter, also from Axa, will be joining Groupama to head the Group’s sales and agency activities.
As director of non motor and SME underwriting, Phil Bird will report directly to managing director, François-Xavier Boisseau and will take responsibility for Groupama’s underwriting teams for these important areas of Groupama’s business. Phil will join Groupama as it looks to develop its growing non-motor and SME business, and to build upon the success of its award-winning motor underwriting team.
