The Jelf Group has acquired Swansea-based Brian D Thomas Insurance Services, increasing general insurance premiums (excluding healthcare) managed by the Jelf Group to over £85m. Lee Brewin, distribution development director at the Jelf Group, commented: "We are thrilled to have acquired one of the largest and most reputable brokers in South Wales to consolidate the Jelf Group as a UK top-ten independent broker and establish it as the pre-eminent regional brand in Wales."
