Brit Insurance has finally taken the decision to redomicile from the UK to the Netherlands, subject to requisite clearances and approvals.
The announcement comes after months of veiled threats of redomestication from chief executive Dane Douetil over what he has described as the Government's "unhelpful" position over corporation tax. He has also cited Solvency II requirements as an added incentive to relocate outside of the UK.
