More than a third of small businesses are risking the safety of their staff by not implementing effective risk assessment practices, according to Norwich Union Risk Services (NURS).

The findings were announced as Norwich Union (NU) launched a 12-month campaign, Simply Safety, to help small businesses manage their health & safety issues.

Of the 3,000 firms visited by NURS' risk advisers in 2007, 63% were judged to have risk assessments that were 'good' or 'very good', but the remaining 37% had

Peach and owner grow in 2025
