A regulatory survey by DLA has shown that much of UK Plc's efforts to adapt to the new regulatory environment are in fact misdirected, with too many companies neglecting the procedures they have established, despite their good intentions. Companies are also failing to grasp the full scope of the powers and sanctions the regulators possess, and the effect an investigation could have. Key statistics include the fact that 88% of companies did not know the Financial Services Authority (FSA) can use
