Towergate has purchased Glasgow-based MacDonald Reid Scott, which comprises two companies, MacDonald Reid Scott Insurance Brokers and MacDonald Reid Scott Financial. The broking arm has a strong commercial lines business in property, liability and commercial motor, controlling premiums in excess of £9m.
