
Lecture given by FSA Chairman
The chairman of the Financial Services Authority (FSA), Lord Turner, has given a lecture discussing the future of the financial system and regulatory implications. He said the current model of financing lending would have a role to play in the future, but needed to be simpler and more transparent. Moreover, he outlined issues he will address in a review of the regulation and supervision of the banking system. The Turner Report will be published in March and will also focus on long-term
