The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has published a guide on Basic Advice in the form of a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Brief covering a number of questions that have arisen since the regime began. Dan Waters, FSA director, retail policy, said: "The Basic Advice regime is still new and we know from talking to firms that not everyone has yet got to grips with how it works and how they can use it to help customers who may not need full advice.
