Keelan Westall has sold off its personal lines business to R3 to focus on expanding its core commercial property business. The board recently decided it would no longer be able to provide a long-term competitive product in what they believed was rapidly becoming a commodity market. Tony Trueman, Keelan Westall's finance director, said: "Despite the company's strong growth, we need to focus on core business."
