Industry feeling 'smothered' by regulation

The insurance broking industry feels smothered by the process of regulation; continues to consolidate and has been disappointed by the promise of technology according to Mazars' third Insurance Broker Survey.

Mazars, surveyed 220 chief executives and senior managers in January and February this year in association with the British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba). The results threw up many positive aspects, such as a belief that the industry's reputation had not suffered unduly as a result
