Marsh focuses on SME sector with new recruit

Marsh has appointed Chris Wallace as head of its commercial client practice in the UK, aimed at growing its share of the UK's SME market.

Mr Wallace joins Marsh from Royal & SunAlliance where he has held several leadership positions since 1996, which included most recently sales manager for affinities and director of small business.

Mr Wallace follows former RSA broker boss Brendanj McManus out of the door and into one of the three major international insurance brokers. Mr McManus jois Willis next month as UK and Ireland CEO.

Applied updates on commercial push

Applied Systems has confirmed Arch Insurance is about to enter the pilot phase of onboarding and will be live on the Applied Epic broker management system in April, with Iprism and Ark to follow and more promised in 2024.
