Giles completes sixth Welsh acquisition

Giles Insurance Brokers has further strengthened its position in Wales with the completion of its sixth acquisition in the principality in 12 months.

Giles initially entered the Welsh market with the acquisition of Tonyrefail-based Hedges & Rose November 2007. Since then the group has successfully completed the acquisition of DS Howell, AGM Insurance, Paul Murphy Insurance Services and Hancock General Insurance.

Established in 2002, the latest acquisition, Penarth-based NG Insurance, is a leading South West Wales insurance broker. The company, which focuses on commercial insurance, financial risk protection and personal insurance, benefits
