Aon Broker Selected to Lead Insurance Association’s Regional Committee
MANCHESTER, 25 May 2006 – Aon’s accomplished insurance broker, Jane Kielty, has been elected to head up the British Insurance Brokers Association’s (BIBA) Greater Manchester and West Pennine regional committee which represents over 120 member firms.
As Chairman, Ms Kielty will be working to promote the interests of insurance brokers in the region through chairing monthly committee meetings and organising networking and advisory events. For example, as the national BIBA conference was held in Brighton, the Manchester and Merseyside BIBA committees have instigated a more accessible event at Haydock Park, Cheshire on 13 June whereby smaller brokers can speak to insurance scheme providers about placing policies for clients’ more specialist
