Opus has produced a free booklet providing advice on how to comply with new asbestos management regulations set to affect UK businesses from 21 May 2004. The 'duty to manage' asbestos in building regulation makes dutyholders responsible for taking all 'reasonable steps' to find any materials in the premises likely to contain asbestos, and to check their current condition. To obtain a booklet, email mike.ryan@opuscompany.com.
