InsurTech Futures: By Miles authorised by the FCA
The pay-per-mile motor start-up recently received a £350,000 investment ahead of its UK launch.
InsurTech start-up broker By Miles has been authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), after previously receiving support from the regulator’s Innovation Hub.
The authorisation will allow the pay-per-mile car insurer to act as a broker ahead of its planned UK launch later this year.
At the end of June, By Miles (formerly known as Just Miles) announced it had received investment of £350,000 from Hambro Perks and InMotion Ventures and a number of angel investors.
