Accredited leadership training for insurance professionals
There has never been a greater need for the insurance sector to be managed competently and professionally, not just to satisfy regulators but also to ensure that businesses succeed and thrive in an increasingly competitive world.
Insurance Age has joined forces with Marlborough Training to provide an opportunity to join a short programme of leadership training, which is designed to deliver skills and confidence to insurance managers. Marlborough Training and Consultancy provides training to some of the largest employers in the insurance market, both business and management skills and technical insurance skills.
The workshops will be lively and interactive and will be suitable for those who are either existing managers or who are aspiring to management. We will use case studies and group discussion to ensure the learning is practical and relevant and can be applied back in the office.

The whole programme may be attended and assignments successfully completed to gain a qualification. This is the MInstLM from the Institute of Leadership and Management |

The whole programme may be attended but no assignments completed if no qualification is required |

Individual workshops may be selected and only those attended as stand alone sessions |

* Those taking the Platinum Option will attend a sixth day for individual feedback and help with assignments. Delegates will complete a report showing how the new learning and skills will be applied back in the workplace. In addition there will be a small project. Full support for delegates is available from the course tutor including coaching for completion of assignments.
Those with less than 5 years management experience can apply for Associate Membership of the Institute of Leadership and Management (AMInstLM). Those with 5 years management experience or more can apply for Membership of the Institute of Leadership and Management (MInstLM).
** 10 January is not suitable as a stand alone workshop
