Lloyd’s wholesale broker Corrie Bauckham Batts goes into liquidation

The Financial Conduct Authority has confirmed that Corrie Bauckham Batts went into liquidation on 20 April with John Dean Cullen and Rachel Helen Lai of Menzies appointed as joint liquidators.

The Lloyd’s wholesale insurance broker placed non-marine insurance business into the London Market on behalf of its clients, the FCA detailed.

According to its website the broker worked across property, transportation, fine art & specie, jewellers’ block, professional liability, environmental and high value home owners business.

“Having considered the firm’s financial position, the directors concluded that the firm is insolvent, and further to a shareholder vote, two insolvency practitioners
