First Zurich apprentices qualify

The first people at Zurich to undergo a new industry-driven insurance apprenticeship have qualified at their Cardiff location.

The apprenticeships, part financed by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Assembly Government and endorsed by the Financial Services Sector Skills Council, take on average 12 months to complete and are delivered on-site by Acorn. According to the company, successfully completing the qualification demonstrates the learner's competence and knowledge in the insurance industry via a mix of assessments, workshops, observation and real work examples.
