Markel International refocuses property business

Markel International has reorganised its property division by splitting the current non-marine property division along sector lines.

According to the company, a new division, called delegated property, has been created while the property open market team has transferred to Markel International's specialty division.

Bill Pondrom has been appointed as the divisional managing director of the delegated property division. Mr Pondron was previously a regional director of underwriting and production within Markel Corporation, the parent body of Markel International.

He is supported by Gabrielle Griffith, Julie Game, Kevin Cronk
