NIG in regional underwriting recruitment drive

RBS owned insurer recruits underwriters from four rivals to boost its regional presence

NIG has attracted underwriters from RSA, Chartis, Allianz and Zurich Municipal in a push for regional SME business.

The appointments are as follows:

Gareth Baxter joins from RSA where he gained over 30 years experience as a property expert in different managerial and leadership roles. Baxter will become area underwriter for property based at NIG's Maidstone office.

David Glover joins from Allianz where for ten years he was a senior fleet underwriter. Glover will be based in NIG's Leeds office as
