Sean Quinn, founder of the Quinn Group and Quinn Insurance, is stepping down from the board of the Quinn Group. His wife Patricia is also stepping down. Quinn said he wanted to avoid any conflict of interest with the possible sale of Quinn Insurance.

ALA expands range with pothole insurance

Yorkshire-based GAP insurance provider ALA Insurance has expanded its product offering with the launch of a specialist pothole insurance policy, in a move it claimed targets one of the “more persistent and costly problems facing UK motorists”.
