The Insurance Partnership expands in York

Independent insurance broker, The Insurance Partnership (TIP), has appointed Bob Blackburn, as association director of its office in Monks Cross.

Mr Blackburn, who has more than 40 years experience in the industry, started his career in 1968 in Harrogate and has worked in the town ever since, serving a range of sectors, in particular agriculture, haulage and the motor industry.

He is joined in York by Nick Savage, recently recruited by TIP as a key commercial account handler, who brings the total number of staff at the office to 18.

Brokers push for more from RSA/NIG

Brokers have given a mixed report on communication levels around the RSA and NIG deal but with the process kicking forwards today have expressed the hope the takeover will make more products available.
