According to research by Towergate-owned PowerPlace, to generate four comparative quotes through extranets takes at least four times longer than using its offering - a saving of at least 45 minutes.

Matthew Reed, chief executive officer at PowerPlace, commented: "You have more time in the day with your employees for them to do something that will create revenue. Most of the brokers we spoke to want to use that extra efficiency to make more new business."
