Ellis: consultation over BNIB offices

Retail arm of Broker Network could shut 13 branches

Broker Network Insurance Brokers is set to merge 13 of its 16 offices with Towergate's offices. 

Grant Ellis, chairman of Broker Network, said it made sense for Towergate to rationalise the retail business, which is a separate business to the network. He told PB: "We have three regional offices in Glasgow for example and it makes sense to bring some of them together. At this stage it is a proposal, and there will be some job losses as a result of duplication, but I don't want to say anything
