Insurance Ombudsman Laurie Slade has urged all members of the
Insurance Ombudsman Bureau to provide feedback to the Financial Services
Authority /Financial Ombudsman Service Consultation Paper on consumer
complaints and the new single ombudsman scheme (CP33). The paper covers a
range of policy issues relating to the FOS rules, including: scope,
eligibility, limits on awards, and funding and internal complaints
procedures.
