Smart and Cook has made its second acquisition in as many months.The rapidly expanding broker has bought Castlegate Insurance Brokers in
Cleveland, Teeside, just weeks after acquiring AN Insurance Brokers.
The latest acquisition means Smart and Cook bought three companies during
2002 and managing director Paul Meehan said the broker should make another
acquisition in the first quarter of 2003.
Mr Meehan said: "The Castlegate acquisition gives us a presence in Teeside
and we intend to keep all 17
