NatWest Insurance Services is to be brought under the umbrella of
NatWest's Retail Banking Division, as part of a drive to cut costs by
£525m within two years across the group.


The intermediary will continue to trade as a separate company, based in
Bristol, but will now be part of the same business unit as Retail Banking
Services, NatWest Mortgages and NatWest Life and Regulated Sales. It is
expected that these changes will result in redundancies, but the company
could not reveal any numbers at

Broking profits fall at Saga
