Eric Greenwood, Commercial Union's Director, Northern Region has beenappointed managing director of Plant Safety. The company started trading
in June 1984 when Commercial Union and General Accident Fire & Life
Assurance Corporation pooled their expertise to form an independent
engineering inspection and consultancy company. Mr Greenwood has been a
director of Plant Safety since 5 March 1996 and joined it full-time from 1
July 1998.
